Gerald, furious with his recent treatment and in mild pain from the soft punch from andie, runs back toward the crossroads, leaving his extension cord behind. Kate's gunshots make his ears ring and intense waves of pain from his hangover rock his head.

Andie sets her shoulders into her pack and starts walking in towards town.
Seeing that fire has no effect on the walking dead, hurries to keep up with the others as they begin marching out into the sea of cars once more.
Kate shouts after her brother, tracking zombies with her pistol prepared to buy Gerald time to scamper away. She fires a shot at a corpse as it comes near Gerald who is trying to regain his feet and sprays zombie brains back into the fire.
Gerald snaps out of his frustration when Kate fires at a closing zombie. He scrambles to his feet and runs partially doubled over, guarding his bruised stomach.
Gerald makes it to Kate's side as the propane can detonates in the fire. The blast isnt big, but the sound of it makes everyone move to cover their ears, and several zombies close to the can are knocked down.
Gerald makes a mental note that something for his splitting headache should be his top priority at their next destination.

Relieved that her brother is safe, Kate holsters her gun. She stops briefly to gather up the now lighter suitcase and follows Andie towards town.

Seeing as Gerald has been a bit of a useless bitch the entire day, Corey swiftly sneaks behind him and lights a string of fire crackers which he first places softly on top of his backpack. Corey then runs to catch up with Andie as the fire crackers go off a foot from geralds head.

Gerald walks staring at the ground. Humming various show tunes.

The cars begin to thin out and the road becomes more open and much easier to navigate as the group walks further away from the evac point. Geralds headache hasn't gotten any better thanks to a package of fire crackers going off right behind his head. The group passes the water park as they trudge along their path. dozens of zombies can be seen trapped behind the fence of the park, milling about uselessly or trapped in the spashdown pools. A few lone zombies mill about in the parking lot.  |

Corey marches forward whilst eating a chocolate bar. As he passes each parked car he checks them to see if they're unlocked and contain anything that could be of use.

Gerald puts in his headphones and tries to drown out the rest of the worlds silence. He positions himself in the middle of the group.

Kate checks her watch and sees that noon will come in a few minutes.
With fewer cars along the road, the number of abandoned cars already ransacked is becoming more apparent.
Leaving the waterpark behind the group marches east along highway 17, and its a long and quiet hour or so before the four of you reach the outskirts of Ladner.

As Corey trudges along his stomach grumbles relentlessly. He is on the lookout for anywhere that could possibly contain food.

On the outskirts of Ladner, Kate stops and pulls out her binoculars and scans the area.

As she walks down the highway Andie remembers that there is a small airport somewhere near Ladner. She makes a mental note and keeps an eye out for any signs of the airport.
