For once Gerald sees the wisdom in Kates idea and suggests they head further into town. He readies his hatchet in his right and and grips his shovel in his left, ready for whatever awaits them.

All compass directions will be given based on North being the top of the photos. Actual compass directions will apply if/when maps come into playAndie Stands in the intersection looking at the houses near her. Most of the intersection and surrounding highways are lined with tall, thick, noise-blocking cedar hedges. from her position she can clearly see a large house looming over the wall of green to the south-east, and 3 smaller (but still tall enough to see peeking over the hedge) houses. Corey scans the restaurant before him. The inside is dark but the Menu boards are still lit, and several forms can be vaguely seen moving slowly around inside. Kate speaks her warning aloud and Gerald nods in agreement, taking his make-shift weapons in hand. A breeze makes the grass behind them rustle, and the absence of the sounds of life becomes thicker.

Andie walks North to the street. She slowly walks up to the first of the smaller houses and peeks in the window.

A great stillness settles over Kate, Gerald and Corey. As if the three of them were contemplating what their next move will be...
Andie climbs through the hedges and passes the pool to sneak up along side the first of the houses on the north side of the road. Peeking in through the windows she can see the messy living room of a family that obviously had small children and had to leave in a hurry. The house creeks quietly, and Andie can hear muffled moans from inside.

Gerald moves closer to the restaurant, thinking aloud he suggests that one of them make noise at one entrance to the restaurant to draw all the zombies out into the street and then the other two can enter from the other side.

Seeing the menu signs lit, Corey figures that perhaps maybe, just maybe the refrigeration units are still working and that inside this mcdonalds is the potential for the greatest Mc Happy meal ever assembled. Without a second thought Corey starts shouting the lyrics to Dancing Queen in attempts to gets the zombies attentions.

Noticing the other two are still intent on entering McPukes, Kate pulls her combat knife and moves around to the opposite side of the building from Corey.

At Gerald's suggestion, Corey begins belting out some classic ABBA and walks over to the drive-thru exit and gets the attention of 8 zombies both inside and outside the building. (zombies in the photo are outside in the lot or inside the building. no rooftop zombies) Kate rolls her eyes, draws her knife, and walks smoothly towards the entrance opposite Corey's direction. She can see inside the building as zombie shapes begin moving towards the poorly chosen music and away from the second doors. Gerald can see zombies moving inside the restaurant, as well as one or two zombies outside in the parking lot (through drive-thru windows). Meanwhile, Andie is still creeping around outside the first house. A messy living room can be seen inside, and the house makes quiet noises as something is moving around upstairs...

Hoping that the sounds she is hearing are the sounds of the family that didn't make out, Andie sneaks into the house and heads to the kitchen area. She is very cautious, peeking around every corner. She is looking for: any weapon, food, sleeping bag, small tent, big water container.

Figuring that if he stayed at a safe distance Corey could try to lure the zombies outside the restaurant while continuing to move backwards. Making sure to keep an eye behind him, he switches gears and starts rapping "lose yourself" and uses his machete as a twisted looking microphone.

Tired of the horrible singing Kate decides fighting a few zombies for some bad takeout is not worth it. She motions Gerard to head back to the road. They may still be able to catch the other one heading for the airport. She makes her way towards the road hoping her little bro will follow.

Gerald looks intently at the restaurant and figures that it's not worth it. Although he is starting to feel very hungry he knows it's not worth the risk. He follows Kate and heads back the direction they came, whispering to Kate about looking for something to eat.

Andie enters the kitchen of the house through an unlocked back door. She fi ds several long knives, though they dont look like they have the same durability as thw machete. The noises from up stairs are less muffled down in the kitchen, Andie is almost positive there is a zombie in the house.
Kate heads back towards the road, waving Gerald in the direction as well.
Corey continues his hit list, and has several zombies trailing him as he moves about the parking lot.
Gerald is unsure of whether he should leave with Kate or stay and rock out with Corey...

Andie checks the kitchen for any nonperishable food and she also looks for a can opener.
She checks the remainder of the first floor for anything of interest and then leaves the house. She heads straight for the airport.

Kate assures her brother that they will find food. Maybe in an abandoned house or better a grocery store. She keeps walking in the direction of the airport with hopes they will find food soon and she can make good her promises.
