Kate assures her brother that they will find food. Maybe in an abandoned house or better a grocery store. She keeps walking in the direction of the airport with hopes they will find food soon and she can make good her promises.

Gerald is fed up with the creeping around, the zombies aren't fast after all and he's got manic amounts of energy. Despite his hangover he begins to jog at a medium pace in the direction of the airport, he can see the lone figure of andie far off in the distance.

As Corey lures out the zombies he noticed Gerald and Kate ditching the "Mc Mission" and a wave of anger comes over him. He raffles through his bag and pulls out his remaining fire crackers and lights them on the ground. Hoping that the zombies have all exited the building at this point and will continue to walk towards the sounds of the fire crackers going off, Corey runs around to the other side of the restaurant and tries to get in.

Andie finds a can opener without issue. Going quietly through the cabinets she discovers a dozen cans of various foods, and several boxes of pasta and hamburger helper. The rest of the first floor is unremarkable, and Andie heads out onto the road towards the airport.
Kate head out onto the road and in the same direction of the airport.
Gerald gets antsy, and jogs off down the road after Andie.
Corey lights his fire crackers and runs around to the far side of the restaurant. 3 zombies are still inside, unable to navigate the windows to get at the noise outside but clearly focused on the fire crackers outside. Pulling open the door, Corey slips quietly inside.

Gerald can see the distant figure of andie, delicious curves swaddled in nondescript dark clothing. His head starts to feel better as he sweats out the toxins of the whiskey. He can hear Kate's footsteps behind him.

Andie decides to press her luck and, instead of going to the airfield, she heads to the next house. Sneaking up the door she peeks inside.

Corey sneaks through the restaurant, nearly slipping on a pool of blood as he jumps the counter. A McEmployee lays on the ground, her head smashed in.
Slipping into the freezer Corey comes face to face with a zombie frozen in place. Clearly someone had locked him in the freezer and left him to turn into ice.
Andie, Gerry and Kate marxh along Ladner truck road following the signs to the airport when Kate's radio crackles to life.
++this is Amanda Wilks. Guide troop 213. We have 8 youth and 4 adult survivors. We have a safe compound at Boundary Bay Air field but are running out of supplies.++
The message repeats once more before crackling to silence, kate assumes the girl has moved to another frequency to repeat her message.

Realizing that the freezer is operational means that the restaurant is capable to producing countless mc happy meals all for him, Corey closes the door to the freezer quietly. He then tries to find all of the exits to close them while trying to avoid the zombies that remain inside.

Hearing the radio signal, Andie groans to herself. She knew it was too good to be true, she couldn't just have a nice place to call her own.
" I guess having more people around to help won't be so bad. At least we know they have a radio working. Maybe we should look around in the houses around here for anything to help with the food situation."

After informing the group of the radio transmission, Kate quickens her pace. "Let's go doubletime it! There are more survivors." She then clicks on the radio "This is Kate Ashworth we recieve your transmission loud and clear. You are not alone. There are four of us and we are en-route to your location."

Corey slips around the restaurant barring the doors, successfully seperating the zombies out in the parking lot from himself and the zombies inside with him. The 5 zombies inside begin to move away from the window as the commotion caused by the fire crackers is forgotten.
Kate responds on the radio and begins a faster pace towards the airport.
Andie takes pace with kate stopping along the way when secure looking houses (ones that zombies cant wander into) and raiding canned and dry goods as she goes.
Gerald trudges along after everyone, staring off into space as the last of the whiskey sweats out of his system.

Kate keeps going towards the airport only stopping just outside it and uses her binoculars to scan for any signs of threat. Once satisfied she transmits over the radio that their location and asks for the location of the survivors.

Kate sends out a broadcast message as they walk towards the airport. ++Hello Kate, We are in a fenced compound off the runway to the south west of the airport. Make sure the walkers don't follow you through the airport.++  Kate, Gerald and Andie approach the airport from the North East corner of the photo. A dozen walkers can be seen on the road in front of the airport entrance, and a few can be seen wandering the airfield. |
